Taco Bell is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to provide management coverage and direct supervision of operations in a fast-paced unit. The role involves hands-on operations, coaching team members, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with workplace laws.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong preference for internal promotion after completing learning zone training and certifications.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role in service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Good personal hygiene and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach/train employees.
• Positive, friendly, courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks according to standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness across front and back of house and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with laws.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Hire, develop, and onboard Taco Bell employees.
• Assist with safety concerns and escalation to management/HR.
• Conduct food safety and prep audits daily.
• Monitor inventory and cash procedures and assist with payroll/timekeeping.
