Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee a designated shift, ensuring compliance with health, safety and company policies while driving profitability and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, adherence to budgets, and hands-on participation in daily operations.

The shift supervisor collaborates with the General Manager to implement game plans, train teammates, hire and discipline as needed, and maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal health, hour, wage, and safety regulations.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Drive profitability by controlling food cost, labor, controllables, and sales growth.
• Provide strong leadership to the team to uphold guest service, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist General Manager in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under GM guidance.
• Ensure required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and timely.
• Actively participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
• Communicate any issues impacting the business to the GM/Owner.
• Able to work on feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
