Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee a designated shift and ensure profitable, compliant operation under the General Manager. You will ensure health, safety and wage regulations are followed and that the restaurant runs smoothly.

Lead a team to deliver superb guest service, quality and cleanliness, assist with hiring and training, implement company initiatives, and represent the brand professionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant complies with local, state, and federal regs (health, wage, age, EEO, ADA).
• Enforce Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
• Drive profitability by controlling food cost, labor, utilities and sales growth.
• Provide leadership to the team to meet guest service, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist GM in coordinating operations game plans and initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining staff.
• Ensure programs, reports and legal documents are accurate and on schedule.
• Participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
• Communicate issues to GM/Owner that may impact business.
• Stand on feet up to 13 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Assume other duties as assigned by GM/Owner.
