Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to manage a specific shift under the direction of the General Manager. This role ensures profitable operation while complying with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage, and safety standards.

You will lead the restaurant team to deliver superior guest service, high-quality food, and clean operations, embodying the Firehouse Subs culture and mission.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising restaurant operations and shift profitability.
• Ability to interview, hire, train and discipline employees.
• Knowledge of health, wage and safety regulations.
• Ability to work up to 13 hours and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to maintain guest service, quality and cleanliness.
• Assist GM in coordinating and implementing operations game plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees.
• Ensure required programs, reports and legal documents are completed on schedule.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
