Job summary

Auntie Anne's & Cinnabon in New York City is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations on a busy shift, ensure product quality, guest satisfaction, and staff engagement.

As the heartbeat of the bakery when leadership is away, you’ll open and close, coach teammates, handle cash, and uphold food safety standards while delivering warm, friendly service. This role offers 20–40 hours weekly with free on-duty meals and staff discounts, plus training and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
• 0–1 year of food service, bakery, or retail experience
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
• Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-ins)
• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS systems)
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
• General knowledge of food service, bakery, or quick-service restaurant operations is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and serve as the go-to leader during your shift
• Maintain high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety
• Motivate and coach team members to deliver excellent guest experiences
• Handle challenges confidently—from team needs to guest concerns
• Support operations for both Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon products and standards
• Know when to elevate issues to store leadership
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
