Job summary

AES Restaurants is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee restaurant operations and guide team members during shifts. You will be accountable for daily operations when management is not present, ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, coaching ability, and strong communication, with a focus on food safety, inventory controls, and achieving quality and financial goals. This role offers growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification.
• Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance.
• Ability to perform the following motions: bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team members provide outstanding service to satisfy guests.
• Assist management with training and coaching team members.
• Utilizes AES systems to run a great restaurant on all shifts.
• Implements restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory.
• Sets and meets restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
• Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety and operations policies.
