HMSHost in Charlotte Airport is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in tactically executing QSR restaurant operations. This role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards. It uses prescribed policies to guide management decisions.

As a Manager I, you will supervise associates, participate in hiring, prepare schedules, and monitor shifts. On-site rotating shifts and adherence to health and safety guidelines are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit.
• Participates in hiring decisions and schedules when needed.
• Assigns tasks and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken.
• Maintains clean and appealing display areas and working equipment.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per policy.
• Monitors wellness and safety practices and reports concerns.
• Places orders, receives goods, and processes invoices.
• Keeps contact information up to date for all associates.
