Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to assist in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The role ensures cleanliness, readiness for service, proper staffing, and adherence to high standards.

It uses HMSHost policies to guide decisions and drive performance. The Manager I will work with the General Manager to supervise associates, maintain safety and wellness compliance, and oversee daily unit operations, including ordering and inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per HMSHost policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within the unit or outlets.
• Participate in interviews and hiring recommendations to the GM for unit staff.
• Assign tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure full shift coverage.
