Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operating to high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

The role requires strong supervision, accountability for opening/closing procedures, and adherence to health and safety guidelines. On-site availability across varying shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents; converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Opens, runs, and closes the restaurant following company procedures.
• Supervises day‑to‑day activities of associates within unit.
• Participates in hiring processes and provides input on staffing decisions.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed (HACCP).
• Operates cash register, processes transactions, and maintains cash security.
• Places orders; receives goods; processes invoices; maintains contact information for associates.
