Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in executing QSR-style restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and compliant with policies, while supervising associates and participating in hiring decisions.

The role requires rotating schedules, strong customer service, and adherence to health and safety standards. This position reports to senior management and offers career growth opportunities within HMSHost.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit(s).
• Assists in hiring processes and staffing decisions with GM input.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken and areas are clean and appealing.
• Maintains equipment, handles cash with HMSHost policies, and secures cash.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports concerns.
• Performs health and safety activities according to the Manager’s Guide.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices, and maintains contact info.
