Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises is seeking a Shift Manager for our KFC and Taco Bell locations in Knoxville, TN. You will captain the shift, supervise crew members, and ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

You will lead by example, promote food safety, handle cash and inventory tasks, and help drive promotions and sales while maintaining a fun, efficient work environment.

Job Summary: As a Shift Manager at our Fulenwider Enterprises KFC and Taco Bell restaurants, you’ll be the captain of the ship during your shift! You’ll lead a team of enthusiastic crew members, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a fun atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Supervise Shift: oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Team Leadership: motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service; foster a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
• Customer Service: interact with customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is memorable. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Food Safety: maintain high food safety standards. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to prevent any health risks.
• Cash Handling: handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Inventory Management: keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
• Shift Reports: prepare shift reports, including sales, labor costs, and any incidents that occurred during your shift.
• Training: train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Problem-Solving: handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Cleanliness: ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Promotions and Specials: assist in promoting new menu items, deals, and promotions to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Experience: previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
• Leadership Skills: ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Communication: excellent verbal communication skills.
