Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations, mentor the squad, and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will train staff, manage shift execution, and uphold MOD’s standards across Front and Back of House.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of service or restaurant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coach others. This fulltime role supports a dynamic, fast-paced MOD environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor, trainer or informal leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow processes and coach others.
• Calming presence during high-volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and deploy team members to support guests and operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet goals.
• Maintain food safety standards in Back and Front of House.
• Address squad and guest concerns; escalate as needed.
• Handle cash within the shift and process refunds as needed.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Follow shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Monitor emails for updates from MOD and Slice to keep the squad effective.
