Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards across shifts. You will guide the squad, deliver excellent guest experiences, and support program rollouts, while maintaining safety and quality.

You will mentor team members, manage deployments, and ensure peak-hour readiness. This role requires strong communication and a calm demeanor under pressure, with a commitment to achieving MOD’s welcoming culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follow and enforce processes and standards; coach with empathy.
• Calm presence in periods of high volume.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and programs.
• Ensure the squad delivers the MOD experience and maintains standards.
• Direct the squad, provide guidance, and model MOD values on every shift.
• Manage deployment, train newly promoted staff, and assist with program rollouts.
• Maintain opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Review communications and coordinate with the GM for timely updates.
