Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, mentor newer team members, and ensure a high-quality guest experience. You will train staff, monitor processes, and uphold food safety standards while maintaining efficient daily operations.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, sometimes leading, sometimes performing tasks, while delivering the MOD experience on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes with coaching.
• Calm presence under high volume.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Willingness to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure squad is deployed correctly and daily operations run smoothly.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering, catering, fundraising, and customer review systems.
• Uphold food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House using MOD tools and standards.
• Address squad member and guest concerns, escalating to AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including giving change, cash handling, and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Stay informed via email for communications from MOD and other sources.
