Job summary

Guernsey Sonic is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and develop team members, ensure outstanding product quality and customer service, and control costs on each shift. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to enforce all SOPs and health and safety standards.

You will train staff, manage drive-in operations, schedule coverage, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws while maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of restaurant management experience or 1 year in retail management preferred.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• General restaurant or retail knowledge and strong customer service focus.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local health and safety laws.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and supervise drive-in staff during shifts; assign duties.
• Lead drive-in operations to ensure a top guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels and perform opening/closing duties.
• Handle guest and employee issues with effective problem solving.
• Monitor costs and inventory to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Maintain drive-in records and enforce company policies.
