Job summary

Guernsey Sonic is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and develop staff, drive sales, and control costs across shifts. You will follow SOPs, train team members, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of restaurant management experience (or 1 year in retail) and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Physical duties include stock and sanitation tasks as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years restaurant management or 1 year retail management.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• General restaurant or retail knowledge.
• Familiarity with health and safety laws.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proven problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, coach, and lead drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Perform station duties as necessary to meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout shift.
• Attend work regularly.
• Move and stock food products up to 50 pounds.
