Job summary

Guernsey Sonic is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead drive-in operations, coach staff, and ensure excellent guest service. You will manage shift coverage, train employees, and handle opening/closing tasks while upholding food quality and safety standards.

The role requires prior restaurant or retail management experience, strong communication, and the ability to follow policies to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience or 1+ year of retail management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach drive-in employees during shifts.
• Manage staffing levels and perform opening/closing duties.
• Ensure food quality, inventory and cost-control during shifts.
• Address guest issues promptly and escalate when needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
