Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations in Goose Creek. The role includes shift management in the absence of store management and coverage of daily store functions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure adherence to customer service programs.
• Ensure phone inquiries are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently with electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and stage merchandise in returns area.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before shipping.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor schedule adherence and proper clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures including money deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
