Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Goose Creek, SC is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, service, appearance and operations. The role may assume shift leadership in managers' absence.

You will lead team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers, manage phone coverage, stock transfers, returns, and day-end duties. Bilingual candidates encouraged; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• RSS Certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and oversee program execution.
• Ensure telephone coverage is according to policy and call handling is proper.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, DC add orders, and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and ledger.
• Process and stage returns, issue refunds using correct payment methods, and maintain returns area.
• Ensure merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store.
• Delegate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks; ensure adherence to schedule and time tracking.
• Complete all opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, bank deposits, and security checks.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
