Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may shift-manage in their absence.

Candidate will lead team members in delivering exceptional service to retail and professional customers, supervise service programs, and help ensure efficient store functions, including opening/closing duties and safety procedures. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure team executes customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges with refunds via correct methods.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
