Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position may assume shift management in the absence of the Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and AS or RSS certifications are preferred to support automotive knowledge and service excellence.

Qualifications

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
ASE Certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
Answer telephone according to policy.
Process buy online/ship to store, hub and internal transfers, and DC add orders.
Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the ledger.
Ensure returns and exchanges are processed and refunds issued correctly.
Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
Delegate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
Ensure staff clock in/out and follow the posted schedule.
Perform opening/closing duties and day end procedures, secure deposits and lock the store.
All other duties as assigned.
