Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Management in delivering outstanding customer service, store operations, and sales initiatives. The role may involve shift leadership in the absence of Store Management, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to company programs, accurate processing of orders, and maintaining store appearance and security. Strong communication and automotive knowledge are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail experience, preferably auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute programs.
• Ensure phone calls follow company policy and are answered promptly.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC orders timely; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently with correct payments.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security procedures; manage end-of-day deposits and cash handling.
• All other duties as assigned.
