Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also assumes shift management duties in the absence of store leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish desired).
• Retail sales experience in auto parts (desired).
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge (desired).
• ASE Certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Answer phones according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returns.
• Invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money/deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
