Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and shift leadership in store operations, sales, and customer service. The role emphasizes teamwork, cycle of customer interactions, and efficient handling of orders and returns.

Qualified candidates bring strong communication, retail experience, and automotive knowledge. Bilingual abilities are encouraged, aligning with a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• RSS Certification is desired.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is desirable.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and special orders.
• Ensure accurate invoicing of merchandise, returns processing, and proper handling of payments.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure adherence to store policy.
