Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential duties include leading team members, supervising customer service, handling in-store operations, and processing orders and returns efficiently. ASE/RSS certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• ASE Certification is preferred for automotive knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution on service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and inform customers of shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedures.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and issue refunds using correct methods.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedule and proper clocking in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure deposits, and manage deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
