Job summary

Burger King in the United States is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a team during assigned shifts, driving sales, profitability, guest service and people outcomes. You will support the RGM and AM and directly manage a shift of Team Members to uphold brand standards.

This role requires 1-2 years quick service experience, HS diploma or GED, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and a focus on speed, accuracy and coaching to improve restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Directs the shift to implement shift plans and drive operational results.
• Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Motivates Team Members during the shift on each of the workstations.
• Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Ensures that the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
