Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader in North Oaks, MN to oversee store operations and lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will ensure adherence to brand standards, supervise daily activities, and coach team members during shifts.

The role emphasizes ownership, guest connection, and safe, efficient store operations while supporting the General Manager and maintaining a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of leadership experience or proper training to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with flexible availability.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence, enthusiasm, and excellence.
• Leads shifts with energy and keeps the shift on track.
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a clean, well-executed coffeehouse.
• Knows the day’s deployment and communicates roles to keep the shift moving.
• Coaches and trains the team on responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions.
• Performs administrative tasks like bank deposits, inventory, and product orders.
• Upholds Caribou's standards for quality, cash handling, and store safety.
