Job summary

Caribou Coffee Operating Company, Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader in Minnesota to oversee store operations in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant GM. You will lead shifts, align the team with goals, and ensure guest connections with strong execution of brand standards.

The role emphasizes developing Team Members, coaching in the moment, and owning the shift’s outcomes, while maintaining store cleanliness and product knowledge across offerings.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts focused on team engagement and guest satisfaction with a commitment to Make Fun Happen.
• Demonstrate ownership of the shift and ensure SOP and quality standards are followed.
• Coach and develop Team Members, giving feedback to bring their best DOING and BEING.
• Train team on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotions.
• Perform administrative tasks (bank deposits, inventory, store product orders) as assigned.
