Zax LLC, the operator of Zaxbys restaurants, is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee shift operations, guide team members, and ensure high standards of service and food quality. You will lead by example, train staff, and maintain a positive team environment while meeting performance goals.

The role emphasizes supervising daily activities, handling guest concerns, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies to support restaurant success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: 9–28 hours per week; Full-time: 32–40 hours per week.
• Successful background check required.
• Demonstrates leadership, organizational skills, and teamwork.
• Follows company standards and local laws on time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with required company software and tools.
• Ability to multi-task and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shift operations to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth workflow.
• Coach and develop team members; communicate performance to the General Manager.
• Resolve guest complaints in a friendly, timely manner.
• Maintain equipment, safety, and cleanliness standards during the shift.
• Manage shift tasks, assign duties, and monitor execution to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and cash handling guidelines.
