Job summary

Zax LLC, at Zaxbys, seeks a Shift Leader to oversee shift operations, supervise staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll train team members, maintain quality and safety, manage opening/closing duties, and communicate performance and goals to management.

You will lead with a focus on guest experience, teamwork, and adherence to standards, while balancing schedules and operational demands in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
• Full-time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations including assigning tasks and supervising team members.
• Respond to guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
• Train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Ensure service quality, product quality, and cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Handle opening and closing duties and cash management as required.
• Maintain safety guidelines and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor performance and communicate goals to management.
