Job summary

Zax LLC, the Zaxbys team, is seeking a Shift Leader to manage shift operations, supervise team members, and ensure high standards of service and quality. The role emphasizes coaching, resolving guest issues, and maintaining safety and efficiency across the shift.

Responsibilities include training, inventory, and daily operations control, with opportunities to advance and a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy with knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively; conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product, process, and people required to execute a shift.
• Assign tasks to team members and respond to guest complaints.
• Set shift goals and align tasks to those goals for success.
• Train and coach team members to meet standards and develop skills.
• Mentor, coach, and communicate performance concerns to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team experience and resolve issues in a respectful manner.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Receive and reconcile truck deliveries and maintain inventory counts.
• Monitor food production, cooking, and holding processes and take corrective action.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are complete.
