Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader for Zaxbys to oversee shift operations, supervise crew, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will train teammates, maintain quality standards, and resolve guest concerns while upholding safety and company procedures.

In this leadership role, you will collaborate with management to hit performance benchmarks, manage inventory, and foster a positive team culture. Flexible scheduling is required, with both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, holidays.
• Successful background check.
• Demonstrates leadership and teamwork.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-savvy; familiar with company software.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including: Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
• Train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor and develop team members; communicate performance concerns to GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience; resolve issues politely.
• Maintain a positive culture and morale through recognition and leadership by example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet targets.
• Delegate tasks and supervise performance during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Maintain service quality and cleanliness; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries; manage inventory counts.
• Oversee food production and holding processes; take corrective action when needed.
