Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader for Zaxbys to manage shift operations, including supervising staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring quality and guest satisfaction. You will lead by example, train teammates, and drive performance during each shift.

Responsibilities include coaching, resolving issues with guests, maintaining safety and standards, and communicating goals to the team and management. Flexible scheduling and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: 9 to 28 hours per week or Full‑time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor and develop staff; communicate performance concerns to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve issues politely.
• Maintain a positive team culture and morale through recognition.
• Set and communicate shift goals; supervise tasks and performance.
• Ensure opening/closing duties are completed and records updated.
• Monitor food production, quality, and cleanliness to meet standards.
• Receive deliveries, stock products, and conduct daily inventory counts.
• Escalate HR and risk concerns to supervisors when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all guidelines and policies.
