Zaxby’s in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts, oversee product, process, and people, and respond to guest concerns. The role includes setting shift goals, training staff, and ensuring standards are met.

Responsibilities include coaching, inventory and deliveries, safety and cleanliness, and opening/closing operations to support a positive guest experience and efficient restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Past leadership experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgments and decisions which align with company standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members to meet standards.
• Lead shift, assign tasks, and respond to guest complaints.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Receive and reconcile truck deliveries and inventory counts.
• Plan shift duties and open/close tasks.
