Job summary

Zax LLC operates Zaxbys and is seeking a Shift Leader to manage meals, people, and processes during a shift. You will supervise tasks, respond to guest concerns, and ensure standards are met while coaching team members to improve. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and hands‑on problem solving in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full‑time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy with required company software and tools.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
• Create a culture of high-performance and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor and develop team members and report performance concerns to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain and improve team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet targets.
• Delegate tasks and supervise performance during a shift.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies and procedures.
