Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team during shifts and partner with the General Manager. You will ensure brand standards, product quality, cleanliness, and guest connections are maintained throughout the shift.

You will coach and train Team Members, manage operations, and uphold cash handling and store safety procedures while creating a positive, energetic environment that reflects Caribou's core values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience or training.
• Flexible availability to meet business needs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence, enthusiasm, and excellence.
• Leads shifts with an unwavering commitment to Make Fun Happen - keeping the team engaged, the energy up, and the shift on track.
• Optimizes product sales while effectively managing waste and maintaining an inviting, well- executed coffeehouse environment.
• Knows the day's deployment and the roles tied to it, communicating clearly on the floor to keep the shift moving.
• Reads the needs of the team, anticipates the shift's competing priorities, and delegates objectives and tasks accordingly.
• Takes ownership of the current shift and sets up a smooth hand-off for the shift that follows.
