Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations, uphold brand standards, and ensure a welcoming, well-executed coffeehouse experience. You will lead the team on shift, train staff, manage guest connections, and support the GM in delivering excellent service.

The role requires leadership experience, flexibility in scheduling, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll be responsible for safety, cash handling, inventory, and staying energetic under pressure to Make Fun Happen.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to guide a team during shifts.
• Experience in shift leadership with a focus on service quality.
• Availability to work varied days/times as business needs change.
• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with energy, ensure brand standards, and guest connections.
• Coach, train, and develop team members on role responsibilities and product knowledge.
• Manage cash handling, store safety, inventory, and ordering tasks.
• Communicate deployment, delegate objectives, and hand off shifts smoothly.
• Uphold SOPs, promote a welcoming environment, and drive sales with quality service.
