Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the coffeehouse operations in partnership with the GM or AGM. The role drives guest satisfaction, maintains brand standards, and trains team members on responsibilities, recipes, and promotions.

You will oversee shift execution, ensure cash handling and safety compliance, and foster an inclusive culture with strong leadership and communication on the floor.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of leadership experience or training for Shift Leader duties.
• Must be at least 18 years old and available for flexible hours.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence and excellence.
• Leads shifts with energy, keeping the team engaged and the shift on track.
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a clean, inviting coffeehouse.
• Knows the day’s deployment and roles, communicating clearly on the floor to keep the shift moving.
• Reads team needs, delegates objectives and tasks accordingly.
• Owns the shift and ensures a smooth hand-off for the next shift.
• Ensures standard operating procedures and store standards for quality, cash handling, and safety.
