Potbelly Sandwich Shop is hiring a Shift Leader to manage and develop associates, ensuring outstanding product quality and customer service while controlling costs.

You will lead shifts, uphold health and safety standards, handle cash, and support a fast-paced kitchen and dining area. The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset, effective communication, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• You meet all Food Safety requirements within your state and must obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, including efficient task assignment and providing feedback.
• Ensure all security procedures are followed and back-of-house standards are met.
• Handle cash and count drawers, prepare finished products, and maintain health and safety standards.
• Restock lines, clean surfaces, and manage allergen considerations.
• Operate the cash register and assist customers with inquiries.
