Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is hiring a Shift Leader in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment. You will lead a team on shifts, assign tasks, train associates, and ensure exceptional customer service while controlling costs and maintaining product quality.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, strong communication, and the ability to stand 8–9 hours. Applicants must pass state Food Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and giving feedback.
• Ensure security procedures are followed and back-of-house standards are met.
• Count drawers and manage daily cash handling.
• Prepare high-quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream).
• Maintain health and safety standards and proper cleanliness.
