Job summary

Thorntons LLC seeks a Shift Leader to oversee store operations, safety, cash handling, inventory control, and shift reconciliation, while training teammates on standard practices and food safety.

You will supervise when store management is absent, manage staffing across 1st–3rd shifts, coach associates, and ensure task completion with a positive, customer‑centric approach, aligning with Thorntons’ Core Values.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of required training and qualification.
• Demonstrates guest service excellence and coaching abilities.
• Ability to supervise shifts in the absence of store management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible leader on shift during times when the Store Manager or General Manager is absent.
• Deliver guest service with a proactive, helpful attitude.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Adhere to all cash handling procedures and inventory control.
• Oversee housekeeping, front‑line displays, and product availability.
• Coach and develop team members and ensure task completion across shifts.
