Thorntons seeks a Shift Leader to oversee duties when store management is absent, coach team members, and ensure safe, efficient store operations. You will manage cash handling, inventory, and compliance while delivering friendly guest service and maintaining high food safety standards.

Responsibilities include training teammates, maintaining PAR levels, and executing Thorntons’ food and beverage program across shifts. This full-time role requires reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food safety certifications preferred.
• Experience in retail or food service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader when Store/General Manager is absent, assign work and oversee tasks.
• Provide guest service with a helpful attitude and seek opportunities to delight guests.
• Enforce safety rules and communicate maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Follow cash handling procedures and document discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain stock, cleanliness, and proper food safety practices on shift.
