Job summary

Thorntons LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations and ensure high quality guest service. You will train team members, manage shift tasks, and maintain safety and compliance across the floor.

Responsibilities include acting as the on-shift leader in absence of store leadership, managing cash handling, inventory, and adherence to company policies. The role requires strong communication and leadership within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Food Certifications (Preferred).
• All experience is welcomed and considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible leader on shift when Store/General Manager is absent and delegate tasks.
• Deliver guest service with a helpful attitude and follow management instructions.
• Practice safe working habits and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Adhere to laws and regulations for restricted sales, such as alcohol or tobacco.
• Prepare fresh food following food safety standards and logs, with required certifications.
• Follow cash handling procedures and document discrepancies, price overrides, and waste.
• Keep coolers, dispensers, shelves, and displays stocked and clean.
