Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to support the Assistant Manager and General Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will ensure all team members perform their duties and uphold standards in hospitality, safety and cleanliness.

The role focuses on leading by example, training staff, maintaining staffing levels and labor costs, and helping to maximize sales with outstanding guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Reliable transportation and a way to communicate with the restaurant (phone or email).

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospitality service is outstanding and guest needs are anticipated and met.
• Monitor operations and staffing; take initiative to correct issues.
• Enforce quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and control labor costs.
• Create a friendly atmosphere for team members and guests.
• Train and supervise team members effectively.
• Support efforts to maximize sales and minimize costs.
• Plan and execute operational routines during shifts.
• Maintain cooperative relations with management and staff.
• Enforce sanitation, safety and security policies.
• Ensure professional appearance and conduct.
