Job summary

Pollo Campero in Manassas, VA is seeking a Shift Manager to train, develop and lead the crew while ensuring a high-quality customer experience. You will plan shift duties, verify procedures, resolve issues, and assist the General Manager.

You will coach staff, participate in training, and ensure cleanliness, safety and hospitality during service. The role requires leadership potential, guest-first mindset, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience in similar roles or with customer experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership potential by actively supporting team dynamics.
• Committed to guest satisfaction with a guest-first mindset.
• Preferred: Food Handlers Card/ ServSafe Certification
• Fluent in English & Spanish, able to work with computers.
• Ability to lift and push 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan duties and responsibilities for each shift.
• Verify compliance of procedures and protocols.
• Attend and resolve problems during restaurant operation.
• Assist the General Manager and coach a team with minimal supervision.
• Involve in operational and technical training of employees.
• Maintain a positive, energetic teamwork atmosphere.
• Verify customer satisfaction and handle complaints.
• Apply continuous improvement to processes and procedures.
• Open/close restaurant and assist with inventory.
• Assist with staffing needs and labor controllables.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
