Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader in Naperville area to oversee daily operations on assigned shifts, ensure safety, cash and inventory controls, and compliant food service. You will coach team members, train on standards, and delegate tasks while store management is not on site.

You will manage guest service with a friendly approach, handle cash procedures, maintain cleanliness, and support training of new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food certifications preferred.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-shift leader when management is absent and delegate tasks.
• Maintain safety, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
• Train and coach team members on procedures and standards.
• Provide guest service excellence and upsell through suggestive selling.
• Ensure compliance with laws on alcohol, tobacco, and lottery.
