Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise on-shift staff and ensure the Hi Five Guest Experience during a 37–40 hour work week on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. You will guarantee safe, ethical operation, accurate transactions, and excellent guest service.

The role requires handling POS and gas transactions, stocking and maintaining presentation, and upholding store standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Lifting up to 21 pounds and exposure to varied temperatures are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons.
• Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience: greet guests, ensure store is prepared, anticipate guest needs, and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage ice cream/yogurt products and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console, with accurate transactions and proper change.
• Stock shelves, milk boxes, freezers, dip cabinets, coffee pots, and ice dispensers with rotation and date checks.
• Maintain security, monitor store and lot, control cash with proper drop procedures.
• Keep store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Accurately complete time records and the Customer First Document.
