Job summary

MOD is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards. You will guide the squad, ensure guest experiences, and model MOD’s purpose on every interaction.

You will adapt to the restaurant's needs, balancing leadership with hands-on work, and help with inventory, safety, and program rollouts. This role emphasizes teamwork and a positive MOD culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards.
• Calm presence during high-volume periods.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required.
• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Available to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure welcoming, smooth operations and standards.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for goals.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards.
• Listen to and resolve squad or guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift and handle refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to execute tasks.
• Monitor emails for information from Slice and others to keep squad informed.
