Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, roll out programs, and uphold MOD’s standards. You will be the senior squad member on shift, ensuring excellent guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

You will flex to restaurant needs, sometimes leading and sometimes assisting, while modeling MOD’s purpose and guiding the squad to success. This role emphasizes hands-on execution and leadership on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to follow and coach in accordance with processes and standards.
• Calming presence during high volume periods.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Deployment charts and adjusting daily operations to keep things running smoothly.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment (online ordering, catering, fundraising, review systems).
• Ensure food safety per MOD tools and standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen to concerns and escalate to AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Monitor and communicate information from the Slice and other sources to squad members.
