Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires, program rollouts, and standards. You will be the senior squad member on shift, ensuring the team performs essential tasks and delivers outstanding guest experiences while upholding MOD’s values.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, sometimes leading, sometimes contributing hands-on, and you will model MOD’s purpose in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor or informal leader experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure guests are served by a capable squad and operations run smoothly.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad members and support new program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained and aligned with restaurant goals, including online ordering and POS systems.
• Utilize MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad and guest concerns; escalate unresolved issues to the AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including refunds and safe handling; take inventory and place orders as needed.
